The name of the Entre Deux Mers recalls the influence of the Atlantic Ocean that stretches out to the interior with the Dordogne and the Garonne rivers.
These two rivers on which the current raises a tidal bore "the Mascaret", are a delight for surfers during high tides.


Some old quarries on the banks of the Garonne now host watersports for the fans of waterskiing and wakeboarding.
